The Blog With No Name Is Nameless No More

I have had a fondness for the name, Sadie, ever since first hearing Barbra Streisand sing, "Sadie, Sadie, Married Lady" in Funny Girl ages ago. So when Willie suggested the name to me so I could sign off with something other than 'Unnamed' (the name I gave myself for the short term when starting this blog), even if it turned out to be just temporary until I'd chosen a name for myself, I thought it was a good idea.

I still think it's a good idea, as you have already guessed.  I feel as close to being a 'Sadie' as I can, without it being my real name, if that makes any sense.  LOL  Anyway, it seems to suit me.

I hope you enjoyed Babs' singing!

  2. Very cute and clever blog name Sadie. Funny how our blog land name becomes so real to us. In some of my conversations to myself, I even call myself Queenie, lol! Is that weird?? ;)

    1. Thanks, Queenie. It was a collaborative effort between a blogger friend, my husband, J, and myself.

I don't think it's weird that you call yourself Queenie -- hey, I found myself singing "Sadie, Sadie, Married Lady" at various times throughout the day today...lol.

    2. Willie's right, Catherine (and thank you!). I didn't know how to do a thing on my own, and I asked her for some help. She's great that way, and was VERY patient with me.....I didn't know what I was doing, believe me. After a while, I finally got the hang of it. It was so much fun to do!

      Thanks again, Willie :-D

      Love,
      Sadie
